About GGSight

A focused scanner for gamer tags already visible on screen.

GGSight is an independently developed desktop beta for players and testers who want to identify possible public creator profiles from readable gamer tags without touching game memory, network traffic, or anti-cheat systems.

Why it exists

Competitive games show names in lobby rosters, elimination feeds, scoreboards, spectating banners, and match results. GGSight turns those visible names into a reviewable signal while keeping uncertain OCR and unsupported profile guesses out of the alert feed.

What it analyzes

The desktop app captures only the screen regions selected by the user. It stabilizes text across multiple frames, normalizes likely gamer-tag characters, and asks configured public providers whether a matching profile exists.

What it avoids

GGSight does not read game memory, inspect packets, modify game files, inject an overlay, automate gameplay, bypass hidden-name settings, or promise access to private information.

How results are presented

A profile result is a supported public-source match, not legal identity verification. Confidence, game context, provider evidence, repeat encounters, and user corrections help distinguish useful results from names that need review.

Visible information only

Scanning begins with pixels that the user can already see in a chosen desktop window or capture preview.

Multiple reads before lookup

Repeated OCR agreement reduces the chance that one blurry frame becomes a profile search.

Supported sources, clearly labeled

Every result identifies the public provider that returned it. Missing or unavailable providers are not presented as successful matches.

Corrections stay meaningful

Users can mark a wrong profile, suppress a name, or clear local history so future alerts reflect what was learned.

Current beta status

The app includes experimental presets for Fortnite, Call of Duty, Apex Legends, and Valorant. The checked-in release dataset does not yet contain a complete authorized calibration target for any game. OCR performance varies with resolution, motion, compression, font size, HUD scale, and capture quality. The Windows package remains unsigned while hardware coverage and signing work continue.
